[[en]]The August-Wilhelm Scheer Institute is dedicated to actively shaping the digital world of tomorrow. To achieve this goal, the non-profit institute combines interdisciplinary digitization research with ambitious entrepreneurial spirit. Standardized patterns of thought are challenged and high-tech research is interlinked with practical application. The research priorities of the independent and self-contained institute are chosen with regard to their future economic and social significance. Thus the projects of the August-Wilhelm Scheer Institute cover a wide range of topics from health prevention in the trade to the virtual maintenance and inspection of machines of medium-sized companies to the automation of office processes of large telecommunications providers. Um dieses Ziel zu erreichen, vereint das gemeinnützige Institut interdisziplinäre Digitalisierungsforschung mit ambitioniertem Unternehmergeist. Dabei werden standardisierte Denkmuster infrage gestellt und hochtechnologische Forschung mit praktischer Anwendung verzahnt.
